Concept Vague // Night Lovell

I knew the day would come where I would be writing about this project, and I am so glad that day is today. I remember I first heard this album last year when I was in class and I got a screenshot of this album from my friend telling me that I had to listen to it. The song he specifically told me to listen to was "Forget About Me", I remember the first time I listened to the song my jaw literally dropped and I was in love. I instantly downloaded the whole album to my phone and spent the next week listening to only this album.

After listening to the album I looked through his SoundCloud to see if there was anymore of his work I could listen to, but as I looked through it I realized that this album was the first thing he posted on his account. I thought it was amazing how he could have such confidence in his work that the first thing he throws online is his finished project.

This album is very different from any other project I've written about. The foundation in this project is the production behind every song. You need to listen to this album and just leave Nights voice as another layer in the production. No disrespect to Night but I feel thats the best way to experience this album.

There are mornings where I get to school and I listen to this album for a morning jolt of energy. This album is amazing and if you haven't heard any of Night Lovell's work I think you should give it a shot.
