Red Teenage Melody // Night Lovell

With this whole blog I've been trying to maintain a consistency with having a different artist every day, but this album is too good to not talk about.

This morning before I left for school I was frantically thinking about what album to blog about and what to listen to on my way to school, but nothing came to mind. I decided to save this album to my phone so I could listen to it again on the bus to school. My first time listening to this album I wasn't impressed, it didn't live up to Lovell's first project - Concept Vague. For some reason today was different, I guess I took time out to actually go ahead and listen to the album and appreciate it for what it is.

You can notice how Lovell has matured as an artist since Concept Vague to this project, there is still a fair share of bangers on this album but there are more songs about Lovell's love life. Nonetheless, Lovell still comes thru with a slew of hard-hitting tracks that are sure to get you bobbing your head.

Listening to this album today was a totally different experience, I realized how hard this project goes and honestly, I don't know why I ever doubted Lovell.
